She spent time getting to know me personally and used that knowledge to find properties that would suit me. She connected me to a mortgage company for pre approval and took me on FaceTime tours of multiple properties (I was in Florida). And even after rejection of multiple offers she kept working with me to revise our strategy. When I was able to come to Colorado she was there for more house tours and, ultimately, an offer accepted. Throughout all this time Amy kept in touch, anticipating my questions and needs. She worked closely with the mortgage broker to be sure I had the information I needed as we were making offers and during the closing process. "Amy Houlton was not just a realtor in it for the money. She really cared about wanting to make sure we were doing the right thing and getting what we needed. She went out of her way to help us during the process and help to make it seamless. She cared about creating a relationship with us along the way. We looked at 3 different properties and put an offer on 2 of them and got the 3rd house we looked at. The process from start to end took about 2.5 months for us. The day of closing we noticed some water damage to the property and she got right on it getting people involved to get the repairs remedied so we could still close. Being that we also went FHA the property was approved FHA prior to inspection. After the inspection some issues came up that would need fixed. I told her not to worry and that we could fix them after we move in. I am so grateful that she insisted on putting the repairs into the contract and getting them fixed prior to close. Being that we are in a sellers market we just wanted a house. But to get the right house you need a realtor who not just understands the market but knows how to still work with everyone involved to make everything work out so you as the buyer are getting your money's worth and what you deserve. She is one of a kind and I would recommend her to everyone."
